For Oʻahu businesses that don't have a website yet

Your first website, done.

$500for the whole first year

Domain, hosting, email on your own domain, a fast one-page site written and designed for you, a new Google listing set up and submitted for verification if you have none, and a month of fixes after launch. It costs $500 because most of it is automated and because the businesses we start with become our case studies.

The Kalo & Ahi sample site on a phone: the shop's name over a poke bowl, open-now hours and a call-to-order button

Sample site

Kalo & Ahi, a poke counter in Kapahulu

Your $500 site is one page in a set layout: six real photos (yours, or from a 30-minute phone shoot at your place), open-now hours, directions and a call or book button always in reach. This sample goes further: more photos, the photo menu, the badge, the leaf mark and the drawn map are extras, quoted in writing first.

Everything included

The works, not a template and a login.

Each of these is usually a separate bill from a separate company. You get one price, one person, and a site that is yours.

✓
Your domain, registered in your name

yourbusiness.com (or the best available). You own it; we never hold it hostage.

✓
Hosting with SSL

Fast, secure hosting on a global network, the padlock in the browser, no monthly hosting bill.

✓
Email on your own domain

you@yourbusiness.com, delivered to the inbox you already use. Looks like a business, because it is one.

✓
A one-page site, written and designed

What you do, where you are, hours, photos, a map, and the one button that matters: call, book, order or visit. Fast on a phone on hotel wifi.

✓
A new Google Business Profile, if you have none

Set up and submitted for you. The listing people see before any website: hours, photos, category, the link to your new site. Google verifies it on its own clock, from a day to two weeks, and then you control it.

✓
The basics for search

Title, description and the structured business details Google reads, so searches for your name and your category find you.

✓
Photos

Yours if you have them; otherwise a 30-minute phone shoot at your place in Honolulu, included.

✓
A month of fixes

Changed your hours, added a dish, new photo? For the first month, send it over and it's done the same day.

Plain terms

$500 for the first year. Everything in writing.

Who it's for: businesses on Oʻahu that don't have a website today. If you already have one, start with the free report instead.

What happens: you tell us about the business (two minutes, below). Within three days of our call you see the page. You say what to change. Live within seven days of your go (your go is when you have approved the page and paid); the Google listing follows on Google's clock.

What you own: the domain, the email, the site, the photos. If you ever leave, everything goes with you, and we help you move it.

After the first year: Every website on the internet has two small running costs, the domain name and the hosting, the way every business pays for its phone and its internet. Yours are in your name and we add no markup to them. If you want us to keep the site hosted, updated and secure, that is $10 a month, billed yearly; or take it to any host you choose, and we help you move it. More pages, a booking system or a shop are quoted as fixed prices, in writing, before any work.

Founding price: $500 is for the first ten Oʻahu businesses in our launch. From January 1, 2027 the first website is $1,000. Ask us where the count stands.

Already have a Google listing? The website and the Google listing fix together, $550 instead of $650. Founding clients keep 15 % off later Caldera work for twelve months.

Only the listing, without the website? No listing yet: set up and submitted for verification, $250.

If we start on a phone call: you may cancel within 7 days after your page is delivered, and we refund in full within 30 days.

Tell us about the business.

Two minutes. Nick reads every one and replies within a working day with the next step. No payment until you've seen your page.

We use this only to reply to you. No list, no spam.

Questions

Why one page?

Because one good page beats five thin ones. It says what you do, where, when, and how to reach you, and it loads in a second. More pages come later, as fixed quotes, when you need them.

Do I really own the domain?

Yes. It is registered in your name, with your email as the contact. We manage it for you; we don't own it.

What if I already have a domain or a logo?

We use them. The price doesn't change.

Is $500 really everything for the year?

Yes: domain, hosting, SSL, email, the page, a new Google listing if you have none, the shoot, a month of fixes. No add-on appears unless you ask for one, in writing.

Doesn't Google make the listing free?

A Google Business Profile is free to create and manage; you pay us for the work. Google's note on working with third parties.

Do I have to write the content?

No. We write it from a twenty-minute conversation and whatever you already have: menus, flyers, your Instagram. You approve every word before it goes live.

Will it work on phones?

It is built for phones first. Most of your visitors will be on a phone, often on hotel wifi, so the page is light and the call or book button is always in reach.

Can I update it myself?

Send us the change and it's done: same day in the first month; after the first year, the care plan covers up to six small updates a year. If you'd rather edit it yourself, say so at the start and we set that up.

Online ordering, a shop or a booking system?

The page links to what you already use (Toast, Square, OpenTable, FareHarbor, Shopify). A shop or booking system of your own is quoted separately as a fixed price, in writing, before any work.

How fast?

You see your page within three days of our call. Live within seven days of your go; Google indexes it on its own schedule, days to weeks.

How do I pay?

By card, once you've approved your page: a secure Stripe link at calderahawaii.com/pay, or in person at that same moment. Your card is never stored by us.

Who are you?

Caldera is a Honolulu studio run by Nicholas Mandryk: websites, social content and motion for local businesses. The main page has the rest.
